These tracks were all recorded in Melbourne's first lock down of 2020, as part of an online series of jazz called Wednesday Jazz. It was made with the punters of a popular gig in a bespoke little wine bar called Wine O'Clock in mind. An array of Melbourne's finest jazz musicians- guitar, piano, banjo- have been visiting the small establishment in a town just out of Melbourne each week for a few years now, joining Juliarna (vocals) and James Clark (double bass) for a lovely evening of fun and music where it was difficult to know who was enjoying themselves the most- musos, punters or the friendly owners of the wine bar- Carolynn and Pete.

The online jazz episodes were crafted with love by the musicians and watched by the punters at the same time as the gig used to be- you can still catch them up on www.juliarna.com but be warned, there is a bit of silliness in between songs. You can rest assured, though, that the music in the series is always fabulous. For this disc, Jules and James Clark are joined by three of Wine O'Clocks favourites- Matt, Steve and Sam, but there are plenty more wonderful musos to listen to in the online series of 6 episodes.
